Model 210-R was developed to evaluate micro-surface characteristics of thin flexible materials such as paper, board products, and plastic film. It has the ability to detect and analyze surface characteristics that affect printing quality and press runability; and, with appropriate stylus configuration, can detect individual fibers on a sheet surface. The system is computer controlled through menu driven software that can be modified by the user to meet specific requirements.
